Team Training is a discounted service to help fill schedules during down time and because of that it is important to keep tight parameters. Programs as specific as team training can become difficult to manage. This is how we remain consistent with this important revenue generating program:

- ALL Team Trainings run on the same 10 week schedule. Even if you end up starting mid-series we would prorate so they are on the same schedule as all of the others.
- It is a use it or lose it philosophy. Clients have to use their sessions within the 10 weeks of the specific Team Training they signed up for. So if they are going on vacation for 2 weeks…. they need to double up and join another team training for a couple of weeks to make up for their absence. Don’t roll there sessions over to the next round.
- Team Trainings should not run with just one person. Each Team Training should have 2+ clients, clients can do drop-ins but the 2 clients originally signed up have to have already paid for all of their sessions before you should allow the 3rd or 4th client to drop-in.
- Have a dedicated space for Team Training that isn’t the same space as your 1 on 1 client space….especially if there are more than 2 clients in the Team Training.
Remember, the whole idea of Team Training is to fill your slow times, but not cause any disruption to the current schedule of your facility (meaning no disruption to 1 on 1 training or group training). If done correctly, Team Training can generate a nice extra revenue stream for your personal training business, but if you don’t follow some simple rules you can end up losing revenue instead of creating revenue!
