Typically team breakdowns occur when individuals with opposing viewpoints think their opinion is 100% true and accurate and cannot even comprehend the other viewpoint.
One thing I’ve learned over my 51 years is that the truth is most likely somewhere in the middle. Being humble enough to believe that perhaps you don’t know everything allows you to learn, grow and develop. Disrespecting someone because they think differently than you doesn’t strengthen a team.
Loving and respecting someone regardless of whether they believe differently than you allows you to treat people with kindness and compassion and can strengthen all of us.
