Here at Northwest Personal Training & Fitness Education we are always looking for local businesses to partner with. Establishing local business partnerships can offer a unique opportunity to foster community connections, drive growth for your fitness business, and create a positive impact on the local economy.
Here are some key reasons why partnering with local businesses has been a game-changer for NWPT and can be for you too!
1. Strengthening Community Ties
Partnering with local businesses allows you to establish strong relationships within your community. By supporting one another, you can build a network of trust and collaboration that not only benefits your both of you, but also enhances the well-being of your community.
2. Driving Business Growth
Collaborating with local businesses can open up new avenues for growth and expansion. Whether through joint marketing initiatives, cross-promotions, or shared resources, partnering with local businesses can help you reach new clients and (in turn) grow your fitness business.
3. Supporting the Local Economy
By partnering with local businesses, you are contributing to the growth and sustainability of the local economy. This support can have a ripple effect, creating jobs, attracting investment, and fostering a thriving community.

Finding the Right Local Business to Partner With
Sometimes it is difficult to find the right local business to partner with. You want them to have similar clients as you and be a good fit for your fitness business. I recently had our staff email their clients something like this and it helped bring in some good ideas on businesses to approach about partnering with us.
“Hey _____,
I was wondering if I could ask you for some advice.
We are hoping to partner with local companies or organizations who serve awesome people like you!
We are looking for businesses such as salons, retail shops,, medical professionals (Physical therapists, Naturopath, Dentist, Primary care, specialist, chiro, cardiologist, OB, Pediatrician) lawyers, accountants, juice bars, etc
So, who or what are your favorite local businesses or organizations you think we should approach?
Thanks so much for your help on this. I truly appreciate you taking the time to offer your suggestions.”
Try setting a goal of creating partnerships with 2 local businesses in May. You will be amazed at the benefits that come with having connections like these.
Yours in health, fitness & business,
