“Do you have more information on how you approach corporations in offering a wellness/fitness program?”
Here is what I told the Fitness Business Owner:
“We have revamped our Corporate Wellness Program and developed the following materials that will help our trainers approach businesses and business owners with organized and enticing materials. Many businesses like the idea of implementing a corporate wellness program, but corporate wellness programs can seem too complicated and not affordable. Make your program simple and flexible and you will have more success. Finally, have a physical/tangible resource tool to show the business owner and explain that each participant will receive that resource! We use our Fitness Results Manual and it is the KEY SELLING POINT for us!

Finally, it is very important to assign this to a trainer that has expressed interest in approaching businesses about this program. A trainer with passion about a project is going to be much more successful than a trainer “assigned” to a project. We also market our corporate wellness programs to our internal clients….most of them are movers and shakers here in our community and they are a perfect place to start when launching a corporate wellness campaign.
Corporate wellness programs tend to have a bad rap in our industry, but if you are organized, have the right resources and the right person managing your program corporate wellness can be an excellent source of extra revenue.
