Last week we discussed the importance of reaching productivity goals and we gave you lots of ideas on how to do that. This week I would like to give you THE BEST way to hit productivity goals and keep the clients you have.

Remember, here at Northwest Personal Training we ask our trainers to have their schedule 80% full (of paid clients). (Read this past blog post to learn more about this: Get Trainers To Help With Marketing.)

Keep The Clients You Have:

Q: How do you achieve that?

A: You keep the clients you get and you get referrals from those clients who are happy with your services!

Q: So how do you keep clients and get referrals?

A: You’ve got to earn it!

That means you’ve got to get clients results! Clients won’t stay with you if they aren’t achieving goals and they definitely won’t tell their friends and family about you if they aren’t getting results.

So focus on getting clients results and the rest should take care of itself!

This is where scheduled performance assessments come in!

Do you have specific times set up during the year when you/your team do performance assessments with each client? Let your Personal Trainers know that they are always welcome to do these assessments when they see fit, but having a set time will ensure that it is happening and that clients are seeing the results of all their hard work….which means happier clients and that means a happier bottom line for your business!

Keep the clients you have. Assess their results. Show them their results and they will stay with you AND refer their friends and family to you. THAT is how you reach productivity goals and keep a full schedule!
