The holidays are a time for indulgence, but as the New Year approaches, many people are looking to kickstart their fitness journey, so start 2025 off right with a free New Year’s Day workout. We are hosting a workout at 10am January 1st and the whole community is welcome.
Here’s how to plan an event that will have your clients and potential new clients sweating, socializing, and setting the tone for a healthy new year:
1 – Find an Instructor
Send an email out to your team asking who is available to teach your New Year’s Day workout.
Confirm the instructor and the type of workout they have planned.
2 – Promote Your Event
Create a flier – include eye-catching graphics, workout info, your location and facility info, a QR code for signing up and any other relevant information.
Email Marketing – Send out a festive email blast to your client list.
Social Media – Add your event to your Social Media accounts and schedule regular posts/stories etc. to promote your workout
Post Fliers at Your Facility – Print out and post your New Year’s Day workout fliers at your facility
Local Partnerships – Collaborate with nearby businesses to cross-promote the event.
3 – Try Adding Festive Touches
Healthy Refreshments – Provide post-workout snacks and drinks like fruit platters, smoothies, or infused water.
Photo Booth – Set up a fun backdrop with props for participants to capture memories.
Decorate Your Space – Put up New Year’s Decorations to give your workout an extra bit of excitement
4 – Turn it Into a Business Opportunity
Special Packages – Offer discounted training packages or class passes for attendees.
Referral Program – Encourage participants to bring friends and offer incentives for referrals.

Hosting a New Year’s Day workout is a fantastic way to boost your visibility, strengthen client relationships, and help people achieve their fitness goals. So crank up the music, get those bodies moving, and start the New Year off right.
Bonus: here at NWPT we will be closed on New Year’s Day, but hosting this special workout gives our clients a great way to stick with their fitness goals, allows our staff to enjoy the day with their friends and families and brings in potential new clients. Win/Win/Win!
Yours in health, fitness & business,
