5 Ways To Get Their Attention This Summer

Fit pros. If your clients are like ours….they like to be outside spending time with friends and family over the summer. All of the summer fun means we will typically have a slower July & August. Revenue and clients tend to be down during this part of the year.

Not to worry! We have ways to combat this slower season.

Try these 5 ways to get your clients’ attention this summer:

1 – Promote and share all of your online success stories.

Inspire non-clients to take action now! They don’t need to wait until September or January! (Don’t have online success stories? Check out our success story page. We choose a client of the month each month and add his/her info to our success story page. That way, it is always fresh and we are always adding to it!)

2 – Consistently highlight any summer programs you are running.

Email your offer (both in mass email and have staff send personal emails), post to social media, call comps who haven’t taken action yet and encourage them to give personal training and/or group exercise a try!

3 – Ask your staff to reach out to everyone/anyone they know to ask for referrals and book comps with new clients.

Calculate the total number of comps you need each month. Then set individual goals for your staff to ensure you reach your goal.

4 – Plan ahead for vacations.

Remind your staff that if they are going out of town that they should be sure to schedule their clients with another trainer so their clients don’t miss out on their workouts and it doesn’t hurt the entire business.

5 – Follow up with any MIA clients and/or potential clients/comps who haven’t booked yet.

It takes a group effort to make it through slow months, but your fitness business will survive (and even) thrive if you make a plan and act on it!
